NFT list. Fuckin' read it. [01 Dec 2008|05:37am]

It has been brought to my attention that people are neglecting to take the Not for Trade list seriously. Since it is 5:30 am and I am bitter about having to comb through entries to see, indeed, it is being done, and I thought people would respect it, I will be quick.

If you put names on the NFT list, regularly, that you trade, you will be banned. Yes, you heard me.

The NFT list is designed to stop people harassing those who don't want to give their names out, and people who don't want PMs, and people who don't want to see it being asked in this community ten times.

By putting names on the NFT list you will trade, it ruins the point - everyone thinks then that names on the NFT list are obtainable.

No, you will not be banned if it happens once. But, if it happens continuously, then yes.

If you do put a name on the NFT list that you intended to keep and then decide to trade, at least have the decency to ask to remove it by commenting on the post.

This goes the other way around. If people ask for names on the NFT list (meaning they obviously did not read the thing), they will receive reminders. I've seen some people tell others that names are on the NFT list. Thank you for this. I'll try to continue to do this as well.

No, I won't ban for that action - unless it gets ridiculously silly and a person posts several names on there. There is no reason not to check the list for a name you want.

You also do NOT need the contact information of someone on this list, either. Why do you? They do not want to be contacted about the username, period.

So, tl;dr, if you have a username on the NFT list you would trade, take it off now. If you see someone advertising a name for trade that is on the NFT list, PM me, if you don't mind.

Thanks, and thanks to the people I know who keep the NFT list the way it should be.

This likely sounds retardedly bitchy, but I'm bitter that people think it's okay to list names on the NFT list they just want amazing offers for. The NFT list is not a place to advertise expensive names. People join the NFT list for privacy and to be left alone. I also dislike the fact that if one person does it, other people think it'll be okay to add to the numbers.

ETA: Just to add, you are welcome to put a name on the NFT list and if you do decide to trade it later, you can comment on the post to have it removed. That's no biggie. It's better than letting the name sit in the list while you advertise it.

I have a couple Jackson Rathbone usernames that I have no use for.
-jacksonrathbne
-jacksn

Does anyone want either one of them, and what could I get for them?

Anyone want this username? I will probably never use it.
I would love a rename or a trade for it, but it's not necessary..
